“Missio for life” is an exhibition in which children are supposed to learn about the third world. It’s a mobile interactive learning parcoure with a serious game application on an IPad. The main topic of this is gender equality worldwide.


My job was:

My job was the server tech and network communication between the IPads and the main game server of the exhibition. Since the gametime had to be between 45 and 90 minutes (1-2 school hours) the IPads had to be synced and the groups around the IPads managed.

The game servers features included:

  • Routing of the groups based on blocked stations, progress, time …
  • Autoconnect and reconnect to gameserver
  • Managing gamescore and Highscorelists
